Dear Sweepstakes entrant,
I want to personally thank each one of you for entering the Las Vegas Golf Getaway Sweepstakes for a chance to win an all-expenses paid 3 day Golf School with Bob Byman’s TTF Golf / the Bob Byman School of Golf. I look forward to working with the lucky winner and helping him to achieve his most lofty goals for his golf game.

Since there is only one grand prize, I wanted to give each one of you the opportunity to take full advantage of all that I offer my students through BOB BYMAN’S TTF GOLF MEMBERSHIP CLUB.

Below I will detail a number of levels of participation in the Bob Byman experience for golfers. With 45+ years of competitive experience and 31+ years of teaching and coaching golf, my skill set is very rare in the instructional golf business. My long term golf students have literally a 100% success rate. All a golfer has to do is learn, work and apply the information I provide.

bobbyman1Competition is fierce in the golf teaching business. A lot of money is thrown around trying to promote this person or that who supposedly has the answers to your golfing problems.

The best players over the past 100+ years have hit billions of balls in practice and millions of balls in competition. Through this enormous amount of time and intense and dedicated effort, the path of least resistance towards your optimal performance has been established. In order to create our desired results, the most effective, purposeful and least stressful way to move during a swing motion has been identified, tested and confirmed. Every golfer, male or female, who dominated the sport in their prime…let’s say winning 7 Majors or more…have done basically the same things fundamentally. Of course, each expressed these fundamentals individually according to their unique physical, mental and psychological make up, but boil it down and there are easily identifiable aspects of each of their games’ that are 99% the same.

This has been my goal…to synthesize and organize these commonalities so that I could prioritize, present and teach them to you. Once understood, the golf swing motion is so simple it is laughable. Once understood, this understanding is applicable in every area of the game. These common attributes are the fundamentals. Feed these fundamentals into your game one at a time, little by little, and inexorably, you can become as sound as the best players who have ever played. At that point, you have the opportunity to fully express yourself through the medium of golf. Now that is exciting! What a joy!

Who would you trust with your game? Who do you want teaching you about golf? Do you want fundamentals that guarantee your improvement…or gimmicks, tips and fads that continue your development around a negative feedback loop of compensations and dead-end ideas? Who would be the perfect instructor to help you to reach your optimal performance levels?

Let’s take a look…

What would be the aspects of the perfect golf instructor / coach?

A little about Bob’s background…

Hi, I am Brad Yates. I am Bob’s golf business partner and former mini tour winner. I am the Director of Sales and Marketing for Bob Byman’s TTF Golf. I have been in and around golf my entire life. I have been in the Golf School business for 20+ years. I have watched the “best instructors” in the world teach thousands of students. I can unequivocally state that Bob Byman is the best golf teacher / coach that I have ever witnessed…and I have seen them all. His simple and fundamental approach to bringing golfers down a path of least resistance to their optimal performance has been astounding to watch and witness. After seeing what he was able to do for other players, he became my coach 7 years ago. I am now swinging, putting, chipping and playing specialty shots better and with more ease
and consistency than at any time in my life. Bob is simply the best!

After a nine year run on the PGA Tour, Bob made a commitment to passing on his knowledge and expertise of the game of golf to present and future generations of golfers.
From 1985 to 2003, he taught golf full time. From 2003 to 2006, besides his teaching, he worked on his own game for the opportunity to play in world class Senior competition. He retired from competition at the end of 2006 and has been teaching and coaching golf exclusively since that time. His extensive knowledge of the mental and the physical aspects of the game combined with his unwavering patience and great communication skills make him one of the premier teaching professionals in the world. He has developed junior champions, men’s and women’s club champions, state amateur champions, a USGA Amateur champion and has worked with many mini tour, Senior Tour, and PGA Tour players.
Bob had a distinguished amateur career, which included state junior championships, state amateur championships, a USGA Junior championship, the number one junior amateur ranking in the country, and two NCAA national team championships, among many other amateur victories. He turned pro in 1976 and qualified for the PGA Tour in 1978. From 1978 to 1985 Bob played competitively full time on the PGA Tour. During that period, he won several mini tour events, five National Opens, including four European PGA Tour titles and the 1979 Bay Hill Classic. He was ranked among the top 25 golfers in the world for three consecutive years and is now a lifetime member of the PGA Tour and Champions Tour. As a lifetime achievement award he was inducted into the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame. He has been a featured writer for Global
Golf Blog and Champion Golf Magazine. He has been a guest on “Academy Live”, a Golf Channel production that showcases only the best instructors in the country. Bob’s You Tube golf channel at is second to none. Recently, he has published a must read golf instructional book, THE ABSOLUTE BEST GRIP IN THE WORLD, How to Finally Take Control of Your Golf Game.
Whether as a competitive golfer, an exceptional instructor, an inspirational speaker or an accomplished author, Bob Byman is known for his professionalism and commitment to excellence. “Through my instructional golf book, I wanted to do a literary piece that would make a dramatic difference in the lives of golfers around the world. In Part I of THE ABSOLUTE BEST GRIP IN THE WORLD, How to Finally Take Control of Your Golf Game, I give you the greatest single gift that I can give a golfer: the knowledge of how to put your hands on a golf club in the most productive, purposeful and efficient manner. There are aspects to this work that, to my knowledge, have never been presented to the general golfing public. In Part II, I present all of the Time Tested Fundamentals that coordinate perfectly with my grip. Feeding these fundamentals into your game will allow you to finally express yourself fully through your golf game. I hope that you take full advantage of it.”

There are only a handful of instructors in the world with Bob’s skill set and passion for teaching.

Over the past 7 years, I have seen Bob teach hundreds of students…from the true beginner, to the player that was about to quit the game because of receiving poor
instruction, to the aspiring amateur player, to mini Tour and PGA Tour players…male and female…young and older. The results have become so wonderfully predictable, with such astoundingly positive results, that I am blown away by what this man can do for golfers.

Here are a few testimonials…

Hi Brad:

As mentioned to Bob, the five days were way beyond my expectations. I went from “no way I can do this” through a series of “wow” moments to today feeling extremely confident in all aspects of the game.
This was all possible due to Bob’s unbelievable diligence and of course innate understanding of the technicalities of the swing and the human physiology. Add to this his warm and welcoming personality and I now look back to the five days and I am not surprised what I have achieved over these days.
I have videos to prove that!
I wish you and Bob all the success in your ventures abroad and I have no doubt I will be hearing a lot about Bob as he continues to impart his knowledge to those lucky enough to embrace it.
Kind regards
Nadeem M.

I worked with many prominent golf instructors back when I was playing professional competitive golf and I believe Bob has the most complete understanding of the
mechanics of the golf swing of anyone I’ve ever been around. He has a great “eye” to diagnose swing problems and has a unique ability to help you understand the changes you need to make to continue to improve.
He also has a love for the game that is both palpable and infectious! He is a joy to work with! I know that I could not have qualified for the US Senior Amateur without Bob’s help and encouragement.

While taking lessons from Bob Byman over the past 4 months, I have gone from a 30+ handicap to a 9. I had been trying to improve my game on my own, but was only getting worse.
I am 22 years old and I am a college student and an accomplished athlete, but golf had become totally frustrating to me. Bob started teaching me his “time tested fundamentals” and, even with limited practice time, I started improving immediately. Bob is a great teacher. In fact, I have learned more from him than any other teacher, in any subject, I have ever had. Of course I became a better golfer, but through learning golf with Bob I also learned how to learn. Bob is masterful at communicating. He has unlimited ways of getting me to understand exactly what I was trying to do. I have become a better student in college and a better person overall while applying Bob’s methods of instruction.
I loved my time with him and look forward to the future. He was an inspiration to me to be my best. I
know that I will continue to get better and better. The lessons that he taught me about the swing and about golf affected my life outside of golf…the way I think about things, the way I think about myself… so positively. I would recommend him to anybody. Carl D.

A chance encounter with a respected employee at the course where I practiced led me to Bob Byman, and my golf world was never the same. We clicked immediately and lessons were highly anticipated…and why wouldn’t they be going from a 20 handicap to a 6 in 3 months, then to a 3 in another 3 months, and within 1 year of his first lesson with Bob I was a scratch golfer. Soon thereafter, I had started playing some competitive events. My body was healing itself and feeling good. I was able to keep working hard at my game. I just kept getting better with a newly learned understanding of the direction I was headed. Within the next few years I had won a number of events, and had been player of the year for the Southern Nevada Golf Association.
Recently, I had decided to pursue golf as a
Profession. In 2015, I won my first professional event on the Pepsi Tour. I am so fortunate to have a coach that has been there and knows what it takes to be my best. With Bob’s help, I just keep getting better.

I am in my seventies. I have no time to waste. I informed Bob of exactly what I wanted to accomplish. We put a plan together to achieve my goals and went to work. Bob and I decided to emphasize my putting first, then my short game, pitching, bunker play and then go to the long game. I lost an eye several years
back. Bob was able to teach me the fundamentals but make adjustments that I needed because of my physical limitations.
I have dramatically improved in every area of the game. Bob is simply the best!

We just (4/30/16) won the Member Guest Tournament. I didn’t miss one fairway in 3 days.
I shot 73 on my own ball the first day. Thanks for getting my game in shape. By the way, I made a 7 foot birdie putt in the shootout to win the tournament. I would say that your putting advice and fundamentals work…LOL. I love it!

BOB BYMAN

bobbyman1445+ years of competitive experience / 30+ years of teaching and coaching expertise.

I have been teaching nearly full time now since 1985. I can tell you that in the beginning of my teaching career, I was an average teacher. I wanted so much to help everyone with their games’, but how I was going about it was not working to the level that I wanted…100%. I was determined to be a much better teacher / coach than I ever was as a player. I made adjustments immediately. Within 3 years, I had found a way to guarantee each students’ success. I found out how to create dramatic improvement in the short term, but more importantly lay the foundation for continued and steady improvement
over time. Within 10 years, I had 98% of what I now know. That last 2% has been exponentially more challenging to achieve than the first 98%. I am still refining, learning, experiencing subtle variations of depth of knowledge and application that I love to share with all my students.
But in the end, mastering the basics is the key. You must build a foundation so solid and true that through the inevitable difficulties that this great game of ours presents, you will always be able to refocus, get back on track, know what you are doing is sound and fundamental…and continue to pursue your best golf.

My three main teachers and models

bobbyman15

In the mid 1990’s I started writing my book. I completed it this year. Refinements, refinements, refinements! After decades of study, 48,000 lessons, building hundreds of swings and developing champions at every level, I knew that what I taught and how I taught it needed to be shared with the golfing public. Earlier this year, my book THE ABSOLUTE BEST GRIP IN THE WORLD, How to Finally Take Control of Your Golf Game was published and became available on Amazon.

Here is an excerpt:
THE ABSOLUTE BEST GRIP IN THE WORLD is the most specific and detailed reference ever published on how to acquire a world class golf grip. After 53 years of experience in golf including a distinguished amateur and professional career, Bob Byman will present to you a simple and controllable way to solve your golf swing and game problems. The root cause of all set up and in swing problems stems from the grip itself. After giving 48,000+ lessons, Bob’s students know the value that is presented inside these pages. With some work by you, soon you will realize the incredible, amazing and dramatic improvement to your swing, shot making, confidence, and handicap by mastering Bob’s grip.

Bob presents material that has previously never been seen by the general golfing public before. In Part I, some of his concepts like the midpoint line, equal pressure, the W, the shrimp, the length of the hands on the shaft and the fastball coupled with precise and purposeful preparations and procedures will likely revolutionize golf grip instruction for the years to come. Bob’s use of photos makes adhering to the necessary details clear and undeniable. “My goal is to create a solution for golfers’ swing problems by getting them to focus on the things that they can control and not waste their time on things that they cannot control. I want to offer the root cause solution that will allow for a quantum jump of improvement for each golfer’s game. I believe that I have done this in THE ABSOLUTE BEST GRIP IN THE WORLD. In Part II, Bob lays out the rest of the fundamentals that naturally and purposefully match up with the grip he teaches. These fundamentals have been synthesized through playing with, competing against, watching play and studying the greatest players that have ever played the game…male or female. I hope that you will take full advantage of it.”
Here are some of the golfers who have used the kind of grip that Bob is recommending to you (the players in bold are the great players—the ones that significantly separated themselves from the competition of their time): Harry Vardon, Gene Sarazen, Bobby Jones, Walter Hagen, Henry Cotton, Sam Snead, Babe Zaharias, Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Jimmy Demaret, Roberto De Vicenzo, Peter Thomson, Patty Berg, Julius Boros, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, George Knudson, Jack Nicklaus, Hale Irwin, Kathy Whitworth, Mickey Wright, Hubert Green, Gil Morgan, Johnny Miller, Tom Weiskopf, Isao Aoki, Tom Watson, Fuzzy Zoeller, Ben Crenshaw, Jan Stephenson, Curtis Strange, Dottie Pepper, Ian Woosman, Nick Faldo, Nick Price, Payne Stewart, Scott Simpson, Steve Elkington, Jeff Sluman, Corey Pavin, Chris Dimarco, Phil Michelson, Julie Inkster, Se Ri Pak, Karrie Webb, Annika Sorenstam, Ernie Els and Tiger Woods to name just some of the better known golfers. More recently, Justin Rose and Jason Day are fine examples. As you can see they are virtually a who’s who of competitive golf over the last century dominating their sport. Although none of their grips looked exactly alike, the differences were only out of individual bone structures in their hands, equipment, and their own ball flight preferences. They all adhered to the main concepts, but expressed them as they should have…individually. However, the greatest players of their generation: Vardon, Jones, Hagen, Nelson, Snead, Hogan, Palmer, Player, Nicklaus, Watson and Woods adhered to THE ABSOLUTE BEST GRIP IN THE WORLD incredibly closely. In fact, they were Bob’s models from which this GRIP evolved.

This is Brad Yates again…

THE ABSOLUTE BEST GRIP IN THE WORLD, How to Finally Take Control of Your Golf Game is a game changer! It has helped thousands of struggling golfers to smile again, laugh again and to fall in love with the game again.

I have witnessed it with my own eyes.

With over 100 full-color photographs, THE ABSOLUTE BEST GRIP IN THE WORLD, How to Finally Take Control of Your Golf Game offers you the ability to get into the game, do the things that the best players in the world have done and are still doing, to fully develop all of your gifts and talents. In Part 1, Bob offers the most detailed explanation, description and learning tool about how to put a proper golf grip on the club. Just like the greatest players ever, your hands will literally become the clubface. Mastering this simple time tested fundamental will transform your understanding, perception and awareness to unlock your full potential and enjoyment of the game. In Part 2, Bob builds on the foundation of the grip to instruct you in the appropriate and corresponding starting position, loading motion, unloading motion and finishing position. It is a must-have book for every studious golfer’s library and a terrific source of reference as you improve.
This book is required reading for you, the golfer, because it will finally allow you to take control of your game.
Let’s take a look at all the levels of participation in the Bob Byman Golf experience.
